The Allegheny County Airport Authority’s Finance Internship position centralized in the Finance Function. This will provide the student with a thorough understanding of general accounting, and will include exposure to Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger postings and account reconciliations.
Here is how the Finance Intern will help:
- Assist in preparation of general journal entries.
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable cash receipts and invoicing
- Assist with revenue accruals and related Accounts Receivable reconciliations.
- Perform Accounts Payable functions.
- Assist with month end closing tasks.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting requests from ACAA partners.
- Assist in other special projects and/or duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements to apply for role of Finance Intern are:
- Must currently be enrolled in school as a second year (or above) undergraduate from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field.
- Must maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.25 or greater.
