Job Description SummaryMechanical design activities contributing to the design and development of mechanisms, to provide solutions or systems that meet Jet Engine requirements. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Responsible for engine program lines operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of mechanical design activities within the Variable Geometries discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (safety, quality, deliveries, cost, etc.).

The GEIQ Variable Geometries team has full ownership of the performance enhancer (key technology) mechanism that move control surface mechanisms in the jet engines. Because of that ownership -only global site outside US-, our team has had the responsibility and opportunity to fully design the latest GE engines mechanisms during all the Mechanical Design process going from conceptual to validation design reviews and to advance the state of the art of such technology for future applications, which is a rare and unique opportunity even at GEIQ and other design centers at Mexico. In a daily basis the team faces and solves the multidisciplinary challenges that our mechanisms have in production or field to lift people up and bring them home safely. With that being said, the best thing about our team is that we are looking forward to work with you, Join us!
