Role Summary
* In this role, you will serve as a System Test Engineer supporting space systems and subsystems for the Company. You will be responsible for completing hardware and software verification testing, configuring test equipment, analyzing data, and resolving test anomalies. You will be expected to support multiple shifts and maintain regular, predictable attendance while working 100 onsite in El Segundo, California. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have:
* A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* A minimum of seven years of experience working with specialized test equipment and instrumentation using electrical engineering test methodologies.
* A minimum of seven years of experience performing automated tests and troubleshooting electronic equipment, hardware, and software.
* Experience using software tools based in C .
* The ability to work variable shifts, including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, as well as weekends, holidays, and overtime when required.
* The ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance. Preferred Skills
* You will have:
* A minimum of nine years of experience working in a lab or production environment.
* A minimum of nine years of experience with test instrumentation and test methods. Job Duties & Functions
* You will:
* Support the development and verification of test methods.
* Perform detailed test procedures, instrumentation configuration, and system setup to minimize test risk in accordance with the established test plan.
* Develop solutions to calibration system problems of limited scope and impact.
* Design test hardware, software, and systems that meet test requirements.
* Analyze, process, and format data per customer requirements.
* Review test data, including off-nominal results, for accuracy, quality, and fidelity prior to customer delivery.
* Prepare and publish test reports to document results and satisfy program requirements.
* Present test results to internal stakeholders.
* Archive test data and reports in accordance with program standards.
* Work under general direction from test leads while completing assigned engineering tasks. Physical Requirements
* You will:
* Have the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time throughout the duration of your shift.
* Have the ability to crouch and maneuver through tight production environments.
