JOB TITLE: Stationary Engineer
LOCATION: Palmdale, CA
PAY RATE: Up to $50/hour

Summary:

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of high-pressure, manually-controlled boilers and related systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous facility operations.

Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment.

Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels to ensure proper system performance.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boiler systems.

Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues, performing minor repairs as needed.

Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and safety checks.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.

Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams as needed for complex issues.

Requirements:

Valid Stationary Engineer License or High-Pressure Boiler Operator License (as required by state/local regulations).

Proven experience operating high-pressure boiler systems.

Strong understanding of boiler safety, operation, and maintenance practices.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or be on call as required.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
