Cyber Systems Engineering Manager

$64.42-$71.42/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Lead and integrate cross-functional Cyber engineering efforts to ensure compliant and balanced vehicle-level Cyber system design.

• Develop and enforce Cyber-physical best practices, tools, and cultural adoption across engineering and program teams.

• Define and manage system requirements, including SWaP-CRaM (Space, Weight, Power, Cooling, Reliability, and Maintenance) allocations and performance metrics.

• Coordinate architecture, system design, and requirement changes, ensuring resolution of trades and alternatives.

• Conduct and oversee trade studies, structured decisions, and design evaluations across the Cyber suite.

• Develop verification plans and manage execution through production, field testing, and shakedown activities.

• Lead and participate in integration troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCCA), and resolution of test incidents.

• Review milestone artifacts and CDRLs to ensure compliance with technical and contractual standards.

• Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) on threat analysis, interface requirements, and system compliance.

• Assess and integrate emerging Cyber and C5ISR technologies into ground combat vehicle systems.

• Manage and participate in formal peer reviews across engineering phases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, related science, or equivalent required (relevant Cyber certifications or leadership credentials may be considered).

• Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance is required (Non-U.S. citizens may not qualify).

• 7+ years of experience in engineering, including leadership of military or embedded systems development projects.

• Experience in developing and managing system-level Cyber requirements and interpreting higher-level customer specifications.

• Background in military vehicle development, embedded systems, or automotive/military electronic hardware integration.

• Knowledge of Cyber warfare, both offensive and defensive applications.

• Familiarity with cyber-physical system security, software development, and computer science fundamentals.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).

• Ability to travel up to 15, including domestic and limited international assignments.

• Must be able to climb on/off, work in, and around military vehicles; ability to pass the ASR (Anthropometric Size Requirement) for confined space is required.
