Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $43.04-$49.29Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Windows-based applications using C/C++, Visual Studio, and Windows SDK
Contribute to test system architecture and software frameworks for embedded systems validation
Build user interfaces and system functionality using Win32, WPF, or WinUI 3
Apply Object-Oriented Design principles and design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, etc.
Conduct in-depth debugging and diagnostics using tools like WinDBG, Windows DDK, or equivalent
Work with SQL Server or similar relational databases to manage test data and application state
Leverage and support LabWindows/CVI modules where applicable
Participate in DevOps workflows: implement version control branching strategies, automate builds/tests/deployments
Engage in Agile-based development processes with cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field(Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience)
2+ years of experience in Windows application or embedded systems development(or Master’s degree with relevant coursework/experience)
Active DoD Secret security clearance required at time of hire
Strong proficiency with:
C/C++, Windows SDK, Visual Studio
Windows application architecture (e.g., Win32, WPF, WinUI 3)
Object-Oriented Development and design patterns (MVVM, MVP)
Experience with:
Kernel-level debugging and low-level Windows APIs
SQL or relational database tools (e.g., SQL Server)
LabWindows/CVI (preferred, not required)
DevOps concepts: source control, CI/CD automation, environment management
Agile or Lean software development practices
