Manages experienced professionals, lower level supervisors, or managers. Often leads one or more teams or a department. Manages the implementation of functional strategies and recommends operational plans that directly impact the short- to mid-term function or business area results. Requires broad management and cross-functional leadership knowledge and mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or broad expertise across multiple related job areas.
Essential Functions:
- Communicates with parties within and outside of the organization, which includes larger customers or vendors.
- Works to influence others to accept teams views or practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
- Requires ability to communicate and influence leadership regarding matters of substantial importance to the function or business area.
- Frequently conducts briefings to senior leaders.
- May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.
- May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
- May manage projects at this level with responsibility for the delegation of work and the review of others work product.
- Responsible for improving upon existing or establishing new processes and systems using significant conceptualization, reasoning and interpretation.
- Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are often complex, requiring broad-based consideration of variables that impact multiple functions and/or businesses.
- Extensively analyzes problems to seek understanding of the root cause of the problem.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related manager experience.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related manager experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related manager experience.
