Job Description

Be part of a team that performs software build generation, and Integration for Aero programs within Honeywell. You will be instrumental in designing build platform, software build generation and delivery. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. You will interface and exchange with internal and external customers, vendors, and suppliers throughout the life of the project.

Crucial Skills: Job Expectations:

• Work experience in Aerospace industry.
• Software development experience of 9+ years in Software Engineering, Application/Tool development and DevOps.
• Accountable for AeroSPS Build deliverables for Aero programs through various CM systems - Bitbucket, ClearCase, ClearQuest, ACM, PVCS/Dimensions and Automate builds through Bamboo.
• Expertise in various compilers – HADS, VS, Linux, OA, and Xilinx.
• Responsible for Exploration, standardizing, and implementing DevSecOps Tools and Technology to strengthen DevSecOps system.
• Expertise in scripting languages - Python, PowerShell & Batch.
• Effectively provide technical solutions and directions to a team of System Integrators.
• Be the high-availability resource for answering questions posed by engineers and designers about stories in the backlog on a day-to-day basis.
• Attend standups, grooming meetings, estimation meetings, retrospectives, and other key meetings for the scrum team.
• Manage scope and drive trade-off decisions in conjunction with external partners
• Identify blockers that will impact timeline, scope, cost or other project variables and call out to the appropriate partners
• Experience in coordinating technical team of 8-10 people.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment

Skills Requirement:

• Experience and strong knowledge on PVCS/Dimensions, ClearCase, ClearQuest, BitBucket, Legacy ACM and build methods.
• Experience in code structure creation and build from ACM, PVCS, ClearCase, BitBucket – Both manually and through Bamboo.
• Proficient in software integration activities.
• Proficient in use of GenAI to automate the day to day tasks.
• Proficient in GNU make file and Visual studio project creation.
• Experience in software component, module, and system integration.
• Hands-On experience on different Static analysis and coding standard tools. (e.g LDRA, Coverity, SonarQube)
• Working experience on Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• A detailed understanding of the entire configuration management, build and release cycle
• Knowledge on Tableau is desirable.
• Should possess strong debugging skills.
• Drive team and self towards Innovation, patents, white papers, proposals etc.
• Strong co-ordination and communication skill to work with multiple partners and functional groups to resolve sophisticated technical issues in collaborated way.
• Self-motivated and able to manage with little supervision. Ability to multitask consistently in interaction with multiple teams.
• Good oral, written communication and presentation skills required.
• Good people skills and the ability to work optimally with other Stakeholders.
