ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
As a Solution Engineer, Specialist, you will be exposed to the cutting-edge leading technologies, such as Airport Management systems where SITA is world leader in providing our customers with cutting edge airport and airside optimization solutions.
You will be a part of the energetic Customer Growth, Solution Specialist Team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Be the prime interface for the Sales geographies to support complex deals, non-standard or newly launched products and solutions.
- Work closely with the Account Managers and Business Development to create and refine accounts development strategies, in line with Portfolio and Business Unit strategic plans.
- Be the efficient communication channel between central Product Management teams and Sales teams, ensuring roadmaps are well accounted for while spanet information flow back to Product Managers.
- Actively track, support sales pipeline to ensure portfolio targets are achieved.
- Coordinate multiple parties to define the solutions, such as Engineering, Product Management, Pricing, Delivery, Operations and ultimately get their sign-off on what is proposed by the Sales.
- As a team player you will share best practices of your region with the rest of the Solution Specialist Team members to elevate the level of service and efficiency.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role in Information Technology industry, Telecom Industry, or Air Transport Industry.
- Proven track record in producing, communicating, and documenting solutions for customers.
- Commercially minded and technology savvy with excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to articulate and convince customers at various levels with excellent communication skills.
- Capable of interacting with C level decision makers.
- Solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent knowledge of productivity tools like, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI , Word, Visio etc.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of the aviation technologies is desirable.
- Software engineering background – Cloud technologies.
