Reports to: Solution Lead / Senior Solution Lead

As part of the Solution Centre in our Information Technology (IMT) department, you will join a team dedicated to driving continuous improvement and delivering seamless experiences for Cathay.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business and system requirements are accurately mapped and documented into functional and technical specifications for software development projects and enhancements.

You will leverage both internal and external resources to deliver high-quality software applications that align with business vision and objectives, contributing to the successful delivery of solutions that support organizational goals.

• Analyze business and system requirements to assess solution options and recommend effective approaches
• Contribute technical expertise to support solution design and ensure the feasibility of design decisions
• Convert requirements into clear, traceable functional and technical specifications for software development projects
• Document and map all requirements accurately to specifications
• Develop requirement documents and user stories for project implementation
• Participate in hands-on implementation of solutions as needed
• Review and oversee application development vendors to ensure quality and compliance with company standards
• Conduct quality assurance on solution components to confirm alignment with requirements and standards
• Collaborate with Information Technology teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Stay updated on business strategy, plans, and latest industry trends

• Degree holder in Information Technology or a related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of experience in information technology, with at least 3 years in application development and support
• Experience supporting enterprise-grade systems and system integration; exposure to artificial intelligence and cloud projects is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; skilled in troubleshooting and pattern recognition
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building positive relationships and effective team dynamics with internal and external stakeholders
• Good understanding of current technology concepts, trends, and capabilities
• Hands-on experience with the latest Microsoft productivity tools
• Experience participating in agile teams and coordinating projects
• Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese
