Raytheon Business Analytics is seeking a Software Engineering Section Manager to lead our team of software developers specializing in solutions using Ignition by Inductive Automation, supporting critical deliverables for Raytheon Operations and Supply Chain. What You Will Do
- Manage a bi-coastal team of software developers
- Foster a collaborative, high performing team culture
- Mentor team members to develop technical and professional skills
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of Ignition projects
- Manage team workloads, set priorities, and allocate resources effectively
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular progress updates
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices for coding, design, and system architecture
- Work closely with the DT Connected Factory team to maintain and enhance Ignition infrastructure
- this position is onsite and located in Tucson, AZ
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Typically requires 5 years relevant experience
- You must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
- Experience in the Ignition platform, including Python scripting and SQL
- Experience managing software development projects in a manufacturing environment
- Abilty to collaborate and communicate clearly with developers, stakeholders, and end users
Qualifications We Prefer
- Understanding of Agile principles and methodologies such as SAFe
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs while maintaining project momentum
- Ability to delegate work effectively, and mentor/coach team members through tasks to enhance skills and foster career growth

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
