What You Will Do

• Participate in specification, design and implementation of software features for radio products
• Develop firmware to verify hardware specifications
• Perform integration and test procedures and create reports for product compliance.
• Participate in the on-going support of applications and products, both in-house and with clients.
   

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be a Canadian Citizen
• Must either hold or be eligible for a Government of Canada Secret Level Security Clearance and Controlled Goods Access.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Qualifications We Prefer

• Sound skills in C/C++ and real-time embedded computer architectures
• Software development experience in Linux operating systems
• Experience with RF testing equipment: spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, and signal generator.
• Version Control Systems such as git
• Object Oriented programming skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Knowledgeable in the software life cycle including definition, requirement analysis and design, implementation, validation and support
• Good team working ability and self-motivated with a desire to learn
