We are seeking a Sr. Advanced Test Engineer to join our test engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our test programs by leading a qualification test program, guiding test engineers and technicians, and supporting hardware and software integration activities. You will collaborate closely with the test team and work cross-functionally with other disciplines to resolve technical challenges and ultimately drive new product design from qualification into production.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location.
In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of high-performance aerospace systems, ensuring they meet stringent safety and performance standards while enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Test lead role overseeing test engineers
- Programmatic support (Cost Account Management, Earned Value Management, Integrated Master Schedule)
- Test requirements generation and traceability
- Qualification testing (functional and environments)
- First responder during test failures
- Failure investigation and troubleshooting
- Guidance and direction to test technicians
- Setup test benches and equipment
- Support to test equipment and test software integration
- Support to cross-functional integration and development
- Documentation (test plans/procedures, test reports, test requirements)
- Customer support

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 5+ years of experience in test engineering or a related field.
- Active DoD Secret clearance is preferred or must be willing to obtain one.
WE VALUE
- Experience leading a test team (engineers/technicians) through a development or qualification test program
- Experience with environmental (rate tables, shaker, thermal chambers, etc.) and general-purpose test equipment
- Experience with electrical engineering to support CCA level troubleshooting
- Experience in Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Cost Account Manager related responsibilities
