Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an RF Sensor Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer to join either the Orlando, FL or Dallas, TX team. Our team is responsible for supporting the integration and testing of hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems, and leveraging our expertise in electrical and systems engineering to lead complex integration tasks.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for leading HWIL tasks such as generating testbed definition leveraging Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Controls Common HWIL architecture, designing hardware interface and simulation, setting up and performing tests on HWIL integration bench, reviewing test data, and troubleshooting failures in the lab. Other responsibilities include:
• supporting program meetings, providing project status, and interfacing with a multi-discipline, intra-business area, cross-site team
• leading the integration of the HWIL for the Sensor Integrated Product Team (IPT).
• using lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware/software failures in support of HWIL integration and testing
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical engineering in the areas of digital, analog, radio frequency circuit designs, and electronic components.
In this role, you will be required to travel up to 20 per year. You will also be required to hold an active security clearance and be willing to work onsite.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience in the field
• Experience operating complex RF test equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, et al.
• Experience designing, integrating and operating real-time, closed-loop HWIL simulators
• Active Secret Security Clearance with a current 5-year investigation
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Working knowledge of copper & fiber ethernet topologies and implementation of time keeping services such as IRIG-B and GPS
• Experience with Configuration and Data Management (CDM) of Hardware and Software
• Experience with GPS simulators (Spirent)
• Experience with Linux
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
