Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineering Associate Manager position to support Quality Operations in Orlando, FL. The position requires quality engineering experience with an emphasis on electrical, optical, mechanical component assembly and integration testing.
What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Leads a team of Quality Engineers supporting the manufacturing floor.
• Leads corrective action meetings , identifies trends, assists in problem resolution, and ensures responsible parties meet commitments.
• Analyzes data and present issues to Corrective Actions Boards (CAB) and program reviews.
• Drive root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigations and teach techniques to your team.
• Instruct Quality Engineers to run cross functional meetings dedicated to improving yield.
• Ensure proper training for Quality Engineers and create opportunities for skills growth.
• Work closely with Inspectors to develop Quality Processes and ensure all requirements are met.
• Support a cross functional team held to Quality, Schedule, and Cost goals.
• Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.
• Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex.
• Participates as an active member of Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards which includes dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.
• Supports assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001 / AS9100.
• Interfaces with customers and program personnel on quality related issues.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at Bachelor level or above, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance
Quality experience with an emphasis on production operations.
Experienced as a team lead and facilitator.
Experience dispositioning non-conformances and leading root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
Experience in making risk-based data driven decisions.
Desired Skills:
SAP application experience
First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
Advanced knowledge of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management System.
Experience with any one or more of the following areas microelectronics, electrical, optical, and mechanical assembly.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
