Program Protection Platform Engineer- C5ISR

Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply system security engineering and program protection for major defense acquisition programs.
- Collaborate with defense programs to create Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIP) and guide customers through the PPIP process.
- Support program protection activities by working with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to assess security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Work with subject matter experts in cybersecurity, software and hardware assurance, and supply chain risk management to address security risks in advanced capabilities and systems.
- Analyze critical program information and components to ensure protection of cutting-edge technologies.
- Provide technical oversight for C5ISR products to ensure integrated, compliant, and balanced designs across vehicle systems within schedule constraints.
- Manage and implement platform cyber-physical design best practices across the engineering enterprise.
- Coordinate requirements, architectures, and system designs, addressing changes, trades, and alternatives.
- Lead troubleshooting/Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for production, development, or modification projects.
- Develop and review design milestones, checkpoint artifacts, and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) for accuracy and contract compliance.
- Participate in peer reviews, threat analysis, and requirements decomposition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Relevant cyber technical certificates considered).
- 5+ years of experience in relevant engineering and/or military projects.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
- Experience with military vehicle development and system integration.
- Experience with system-level requirement development and management.
- Familiarity with electrical line replaceable units and troubleshooting electronic hardware.
- Knowledge of cyber warfare (offensive/defensive) and embedded systems.
- Experience with Program Protection Planning, developing PPIPs, and participating in Program Protection Working Groups.
- Understanding of cyber-physical system security requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
- Ability to travel up to 15 (mostly domestic, some international).
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Must pass the ASR test and be able to climb on/off and work around military vehicles.
