What are your contributions to the team?
• Perform various stress analyses of Static Strength with Finite Element Model (FEM) for interior component and structure;
• Prepare and review the official stress reports in English for certification purposes;
• Review engineering drawings and participate actively in new design;
• Perform Material Review Board (MRB) duties in support of Operations activities;
• Engage in Engineering development work;
• Support various Aircraft development projects and initiatives;
• Work in close cooperation with other Engineering/PMP functions (Liaison, Design, Materials & Processes, Mass Properties, Project, Systems, Program, etc.) and Operations (Methods, Quality, and Production).
• Support the Engineering/PMO and Operations organizations;
How to thrive in this role?
• You hold a bachelor’s or a Masters degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering;
• You have a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry (preferably with an OEM);
• You possess Material Review Board (MRB) work experience;
• You have knowledge and experience of Aircraft and interior structural substantiation static analysis;
• You have experience using Patran/Nastran, and Catia V5;
• You have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office;
• You will integrate a position that requires energetic people with good communication skills, who are willing to accept responsibilities in a multidisciplinary team working environment;
• You must also be a person with initiative, strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgment;
• You have flexibility in working day, evening, or weekend if necessary;
• Bilingualism (English and French) would be an asset.
