This position will be responsible for overseeing the different aspects of GNSS analytical spectra and Assured PNT systems.
Essential Functions
- Drives planning, development, implementation and maintenance of software, system, and technologies in the Assured PNT products.
- Understand and analyze the architecture of navigation and timing systems.
- Perform comprehensive dynamic analysis using industry-standard equipment and tools to validate different multi-sensor fusion PNT performance scenarios.
- Define and utilize key metrics to evaluate the performance, reliability, and accuracy of PNT systems.
- Analyze and evaluate various sensor modalities, including GNSS/IMU in real-world environments.
- Lead hands-on integration and testing efforts with software, hardware design to verify system performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Apply knowledge and understanding of GPS and preferably GNSS signals in timing architectures.
- Perform system integration activities of PNT hardware and understand impacts of sensor configurations on an integrated navigation solution on overall delivery.
- Lead and collaborate in the development effort while also providing innovative and creative solutions.
- Works closely with the customers and partners to understand the state of the possible and set requirements based on the Voice of the Customer (VOC).

Qualifications and Competencies
- Expertise in PNT and Assured PNT technologies to understand and evaluate systems engineering activities.
- Proficient in GPS/GNSS navigation theory and technology
- Knowledge of holdover timing algorithms.
- Ability to manage lab environments, hardware test setup and testing for PNT sensors.
- Strong scripting skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in C++ and Python.
Education / Certifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) preferred.
Experience
- 2 + years of system design for PNT solutions.
- Experience with PNT sensors, including GPS/GNSS, IMU, and clock.
- Experience in aerospace or defense industry is preferred.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring and customer support.
- Experience in GNSS analytic and signal processing.
Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
