The 787 Airplane Level Integration Team (ALIT) has an opportunity for a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support the 787 Program in North Charleston, South Carolina.
A Systems Engineer is responsible for facilitating the sustaining processes to support development assurance, integration, validation and verification for 787 Airplane Systems requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages design requirements for the 787 program, facilitating the following processes:
Requirement development and validation activities
Requirement verification definition
Requirement deviation definition
Incorporates approved requirements, verification and deviations into database
Facilitates discussion of requirements deviations during requirements review boards
Manages Modification Impact Analysis (MIA) Forms for 787 Program
Drafts supporting process documentation for Systems Engineering process changes, as required
Manages DOORS access for both US and non-US persons
Will require occasional travel to Everett, WA for training and/or coordination with other ALIT team members.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
Effective communication, organization and team-oriented skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Boeing Commercial Aircraft products
Familiarity with DOORS
Background in Requirements Management
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Mid-Level: $97,750 - $132,250
