We are seeking a Manager to lead and support the Employee Data Services (EDS) Product within the Team Member Support Portfolio. EDS enables enterprise-wide access to trusted HR data, supporting both SaaS platforms and custom-built solutions.

The EDS product suite includes:

• SAP SuccessFactors modules: Employee Central, Recruiting & Onboarding, Compensation, and Performance & Goals
• Custom applications: HR Seniority and 401(k) Date Calculations, Officer Performance Evaluation
• People Data Exchange: A cloud-native, source-system agnostic platform built on microservices architecture, enabling secure and efficient consumption of employee team member data by downstream systems and vendors.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with strong technical acumen, a product mindset, and experience managing teams that deliver enterprise-grade data services. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational execution, and stakeholder engagement across HR, IT, and vendor ecosystems.

• Exhibits strong business and leadership skills, deep technology perspective to guide solutions, and strong communication skills to coordinate with Engineers to ensure they understand business needs and objectives, as well as technical requirements of products
• Collaborates with Business and IT leadership to execute and communicate organization’s technical vision, mission, and work priorities, and drives progress towards roadmaps and ensures efficient technical product management and effective communication with stakeholders
• Creates environment for delivery teams to be self-governing organizations who are accountable for their own performance and delivery commitments and measured accordingly
• Removes roadblocks, cultivates relationships, and effectively communicates across IT and at various levels of leadership
• Removes squad impediments and emphasizes cross-functional collaboration between roles
• Provide input on technology decisions, people management, and product features across all stages of product lifecycle
• Establish open lines of communication between engineering squads and IT leadership, and support clear adherence to business requirements
• Facilitate and monitor clear Engineer check-ins, sprint deliverables, and open communication toward squads and stakeholders
• Drives forward increased technical upskilling across organization with education, programs, and metrics
• Manage Engineer staffing strategy to ensure alignment to Scrum and Agile principles and work closely with Scrum Lead
• Promote use of industry leading technology trends and continuously assess AA IT needs and areas for improvement
• Manages and leads adoption and migration of new and emerging technologies
• Leads, develops, and mentors a high performing engineering team of individuals with a diverse range of technical skills and experiences
• Exhibits a desire for continuous learning and sharing of new knowledge within the organization
• Responsible for the hiring and managing of squad members, including staffing and performance reviews as well
• Responsible for budget management and forecasting
• Manages production issues and off-hours support, communication, and coordination, as needed
• Works extended hours occasionally, based on the needs of the project and the operation

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelors degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems,  or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• 5 years of experience participating in delivery of solutions using ITIL / Agile / XP, or similar methodologies
• 3 years of experience leading product teams

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT, product management, or engineering leadership roles, preferably within HR technology or enterprise data platforms
• Strong understanding of HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance & Goals) and custom HR applications
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and data integration platforms
• Familiarity with data governance, compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX), and secure data exchange practices
• Demonstrated success in modernizing legacy applications and enabling scalable, self-service solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• Strategic thinker with a product mindset, capable of aligning team execution with long-term vision and goals

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Proven track record in leading Engineering initiatives that generate substantial value; well organized, able to multi-task, able to prioritize with minimal direction
• Strong technical leadership, and extensive experience in Agile methodology-style leadership environment
• Excellent communication skills to present to executive management often and emphasize the important intersection of business and technology
• Proven ability to handle multiple products/work streams and demands efficiently
• Experience in leading a team of individuals with various levels of skills and experience in potentially high stress and challenging situations
• Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environment
• Leads, influences, and upholds technology standards to ensure resiliency goals are met and continuously improved upon
• Basic financial skills
