AirPro SAR Services Inc., a joint venture between Airbus Defence and Space and PAL Aerospace, is proud to support Canada’s Fixed Wing Search and Rescue (FWSAR) program. As the MRO Liaison Engineer, you will act as the primary point of contact between AirPro and the PAL Aerospace MRO maintenance teams. You will ensure consistence support, clear communication, and effective guidance to the local maintenance team while C-295 aircraft is undergoing maintenance at our MRO in Winnipeg.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner Interface: Serve as the AirPro focal point at MRO Winnipeg, ensuring seamless communication and support for MRO activities with partners.
- Technical Support: Collaborate closely with the AirPro Engineering team to track, resolve, and implement technical solutions, while providing guidance on troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. Work on the hangar floor closely with the PAL MRO technicians, coordinate with them for reporting technical issues, monitoring repair implementations, reporting progress, implementing modifications as per service bulletins, supporting special inspections, etc.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with the PAL MRO maintenance organization, identifying and addressing operational concerns in technical documentation, procedures, and daily operations.
- Liaison: Act as a liaison between PAL MRO maintenance, AirPro Integrated Logistic Support, Engineering and Material teams, appropriate organizations, and the customer to ensure alignment and effective communication. Ensure communication of work and reporting issues at MRO facilities back to the AirPro Ottawa office.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the FWSAR programme.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering or M2 or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace Engineering.
- At least 2 years of Experience in providing direct support to maintenance or production teams.
- Experience in MRO/Part 145.
- Highly valuable knowledge in Aircraft structure, avionics, electrical and mechanical systems and/or testing.

- Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications (Assets):
- Experience with the C-295.
- Familiarity with DND programs or previous work with DND.
- Experience in ATO or ADO settings.
