Your Role
As a Junior Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Australia, you will support the broader software engineering team with planning, implementation, integration, and testing of software features.
- Develop, test, and integrate reliable and maintainable software under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in code and document reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Raise and manage tasks and defects using Atlassian JIRA.
- Contribute to quality testing and integration of Software.
About You
You are a motivated team player with a passion for software engineering and a commitment to learning and continuous improvement. You will have either recently graduated or have under 2 years experience.
- Able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA NV1 security clearance
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Some knowledge or experience with Software development in Linux
environments and basic understanding of computer networking. - Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C, C++
