Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Pinellas Park, Florida is seeking a Summer 2025 Industrial Engineering Intern. In this role, you will assist with industrial engineering, data analysis, project planning and other areas to ensure manufacturing processes run smoothly. The individual in this role will be responsible for working across multiple departments, completing projects, and recommending process improvements. The individual in this role will gain a high-level familiarity with the manufacturing process and operations at our site. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of identifying opportunities to ambiguous problems.
Must be a US Citizen.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering

Desired Skills:
• Prior experience with manufacturing industry preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS office, Excel, and PowerPoint and strong data analysis skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and principles for process improvement.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
