ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will participate in various design and engineering projects that directly contribute to the self-service products we create for our customers. You will be accountable for supporting and contributing to all phases of the product creation lifecycle and tacking real-world challenges from day one.

Reporting to the Hardware Product Manager, you will be a part of the Hardware Product Specialist team, responsible for delivering top-quality products to the aviation industry within our Passengers at Airports division.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop product and feature concepts
• Create and review product requirements
• Design, build, and validate prototypes
• Generate product impressions and visualizations
• Conduct product designs, design engineering, and mechanical engineering tasks
• Leverage research and design skills to improve the sustainability of SITA products

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

• Soft skills: Analytical, action-oriented, communication, and a good sense of humor
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to adapt to new challenges in M&A projects.
• Hard skills: Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, SolidWorks, KeyShot, and similar tools
• Must have a master’s degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Must have less than 12-24 months’ post-graduate experience (excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience)
• Must be eligible to work in The Netherlands without the need for a work permit or sponsorship
• Fluent in English
