Description:You will be a Field Engineer deploying to either Morocco, India, Saudi Arabia, or Kuwait for up to 24 months.
Prior to deployment, you will attend training at the Gilbert, AZ depot.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Field Engineer you will conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting technical problems and issues
- Determining technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications
- Recommending actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.
- Providing onsite technical, maintenance and supply support to Apache D/E-Model M-TADS/PNVS and FCR systems at various locations throughout the Continental US and overseas.
- Providing over the shoulder assistance, guidance and oversight during preventative maintenance, fault isolation/troubleshooting, maintenance operational checks, and supply activities related to M-TADS/PNVS and FCR systems.
- Utilizing IETM, wire schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, charts, and workbooks to troubleshoot equipment.
- Conducting technical training to include classroom and On the Job Training (OJT) per contract Statement of Work (SOW)/ Performance Work Statement (PWS) and be able to perform product briefings with customer personnel along with senior Lockheed Martin management supporting the assigned contract.
- Acting as the on-site representative of Lockheed Martin to the customer.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent professional experience/combined education.
- Strong knowledge and experience of standard mechanical and electro-mechanical repairs
- Willing to commit to serve up to two years, supporting fielded M-TADS or FCR systems located at various international locations.
- Knowledge of basic avionics and electronics principles
- Experience with cable and harness repair
- Knowledge of trouble-shooting and fault isolation of components using general purpose and/or automated test equipment
- Knowledge of the operation of general purpose and/or automated test equipment
- Knowledge of the interpretation of engineering drawings, schematics, and test and repair procedures
- Familiarity with industrial standards, military specifications and industry processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements
- Ability to understand policies and procedures for the use and control of Government property
- Ability to work with hazardous chemicals
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Ability to obtain a D.O.D. security clearance (SECRET)
Desired Skills:
- 3-5 years of Apache A, D, or E model experience to include knowledge of US Army or equivalent military aviation operations.
- Knowledge of automated and/or general purpose test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, network analyzers and waveform generators) used in a depot
- Knowledge of fault isolation for electro-mechanical and electro-optical components
- Knowledge of concepts for hardware repair
- Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards
- Military flight-line maintenance experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
