Job Description: The Maintenance / Plant Engineer is responsible for day-to-day safe and efficient operation of maintenance for the plant. The person designs, coordinates, and obtain proper parts and materials to support maintenance operations, and assists maintenance in a technical support role.
Engineering support for maintenance and productions. Assist in proper design, material selection, drawing, sourcing and obtaining parts for maintenance and production support operations.
- Must be able to use CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks).
- Stress and strain calculations.
- Basic hydraulic and electrical circuits.
- Materials knowledge, alloys, hardnesses, usages
- Proper drawings with dimensional callouts, materials, specs, and drawing conventions.
Project management - ability to take a project from concept to realization efficiently.
- MS project
- Coordination of vendor and CFW resources.
- Supervision of project including labor resources to complete project.
- Timeline, CAR, and cost generation and coordination.
- Cost reduction pipeline projects.
Day to day maintenance activities and functions.
- Daily plant walkthroughs looking for maintenance issues, coordination with shop and maintenance on needed repairs and tasks.
- Technical assistance for maintenance and shop employees on engineering issues.
- Machinery breakdown, troubleshooting and response assistance.
- Workplace safety and environment assistance.

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Educational/ Experience/ Skills Requirements:
- BS Mechanical Engineer or related.
- Five (5) years of maintenance experience and three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and machinery function.
- Leadership and human relations ability.
- Able to organize and coordinate maintenance projects.
- Blueprint and schematic interpretation.
- Ability to analytically and rationally make decisions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a "sense or urgency" and "get it done" attitude.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $77,600.00 to $97,000.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 160 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the companys medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
