Position Summary
With direct supervision, is responsible for work assignments on a part‐time or temporary employment basis while enrolled in a university degree program. Assignments are intended to provide entry‐level experience and training related to the degree discipline and in Parker business structure, operational functions, customers, and products.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Acquire knowledge of various department operations, functions, responsibilities and work flow.
- Complete well‐defined work assignments and actively participate in hands‐on projects and/or special assignments.
- Learn and become proficient at systems and procedures applicable to work assignments and functional area.
- Maintain communication with team leader to include feedback on assignments, scheduling, and program improvements. Immediate work direction may be assigned to an experienced team member.
- Perform other related responsibilities
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Enrolled in university coursework toward a college degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Ability to work effectively in a variety of administrative, technical and manufacturing assignments.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all contacts.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
