Description
Northrop Grummans MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions.
As the Engineering Change Proposal Manager, you’ll play a critical role in the Triton Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Program, overseeing the management and integration of product changes across the platform’s sustainment lifecycle. You’ll work closely with the US Navy (USN), RAAF, and CASG to ensure alignment between the Australian Triton fleet and the broader Cooperative Program.
- Lead, coordinate, and manage end-to-end ECP activities under the Engineering Management System
- Liaise with USN, RAAF, CASG, and internal teams to integrate product changes efficiently and compliantly
- Assess engineering changes for operational, technical, and sustainment impacts
- Ensure configuration control, documentation accuracy, and compliance with Defence standards
- Track and report ECP progress, costs, risks, and implementation outcomes
You’re an organised, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of engineering change processes and Defence sustainment environments. You’re skilled at coordinating stakeholders, balancing priorities, and ensuring all changes support operational readiness and airworthiness compliance.
- Engineering or technical qualifications in a relevant discipline (advantageous)
- Experience in aircraft sustainment or complex Defence programs
- Understanding of Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) or civil equivalent
- Proven capability in project management, scheduling, or production planning
- Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external Defence stakeholders
