Please Note this position supports our 2nd Shift. You will be paid a 10 Pay Premium while working the 2nd Shift from 4:30PM to 3 AM -- 4/10 work schedule week -- Working Monday to Thursday every Friday off.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100 of the time.

The qualified candidate provides quality and/or technical support to engineers on a variety of quality and technical tasks. In this role you will assist the Sustainment Team to support company mission by producing defect-free products that exceed our customers expectations in quality, delivery, and cost, leveraging lean six sigma practices. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as proposed engineering design changes as well as qualitative and quantitative data to ensure that design is effectively translated to respective process planning artifacts in support of manufacturing builds assuring quality products are effectively tested, inspected and delivered to our customers. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis assuring quality products are provided to our customers.

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School diploma
5+ years or more related experience in electronics, electrical hardware, troubleshooting and the ability to read technical documentation
Secret clearance
Must know how to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and complex assembly instructions.
Capability to interact, and work with other engineering disciplines.
Tests components or assembled equipment and systems to measure performance and operational reliability using test procedures, mechanical measuring equipment and/or electronic test equipment. Analyzes and interprets test data. Troubleshoots and performs repairs when necessary and installs field changes and modifications.
Competent in soldering, mechanical assembly as well as complex cable rework / repair operations.
Must be a motivated and ambitious self-starting individual with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated working relationships with other disciplines. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and management.
Ability to use Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (including Excel, Outlook, and Word).
You must possess excellent communication skills and can exercise that skill effectively in a technical environment.
Must be comfortable to work effectively with a variety of hand tools.
Understanding of electronics fundamentals to aid in the troubleshooting of assemblies and other electronic systems.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

7+ years of prior work experience
Technical Degree such as a vocational school
IPC Certification / IPC-A-610 Certificate
Lean Manufacturing Experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66017 - $105628

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
