Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned technology maturation projects
  • Perform required simulations to design and optimize additive process parameters
  • Post process simulation results according to requirements
  • Create components preliminary design to perform case study activities
  • Develop simulations and tests results databases
  • Use lessons learnt to provide feedback to improve and/or align existing Design Practices (DPs) and methods
  • Present in technical and project reviews
  • Stay up to date with state-of-the-art technology and knowledge in the filed of additive manufacturing.
  • Lead and/or participate in new products introduction, process performance improvement, cost reduction and problem solving activities.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Support development of process monitoring tools and dashboards
  • Support cooperation with external project partners

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited University
  • Strong knowledge of theory of plasticity; Additive Manufacturing experience would be a plus
  • Experience in Ansys Workbench non-linear, multibody simulations
  • Experience with programming languages (i.e. Matlab/Python)
  • Knowledge of key aeronautical engines layout, architecture, and mechanical systems arrangements
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • The ability to work in international team
  • The ability to produce clear, concise reports and other documentation, of appropriate quality
  • EU Work Permit
