About the team:

The Methods & Tools team is a transverse group that works with various core engineering verticals within Airbus. The unique value proposition of this team is its ability to operate in a multi-functional environment, providing digital solutions to complex engineering problems. The team&39;s strength lies in its members, who possess core engineering domain knowledge complemented by software development skills. This team serves as a key enabler for numerous digitalization initiatives across Airbus, leveraging the latest technologies and their specialized domain expertise.

Some examples of the digital solutions developed for various Core Engineering departments include:

• Data-driven designs of wiring

• Automated routing of electrical harnesses

• Data Analytics-based products aimed at reducing physical tests of material specimens

• Web-based solutions to encapsulate and automate different workflows, such as flight test planning

• Tools for Electrical Wiring Harness and Hydraulic Circuit design process improvements

• Tools used in Aircraft Safety analysis and Engineering Business Data monitoring

We are committed to and follow Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies in developing state-of-the-art digital products for the areas mentioned above.

This position requires a strong blend of data-centric and software development skills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in:

• Data Engineering, Analytics, and Visualization: A strong command of data engineering and analysis principles, including creating insightful dashboards and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.

• Programming and Scripting: Hands-on experience with Python and Jupyter for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.

• Containerization and DevOps: Solid knowledge of DevOps principles and direct experience with tools like Kubernetes and Docker.

• Database Management: Designing, developing, and maintaining robust databases and data systems.

• Problem-Solving: The ability to analyze large-scale problems and implement practical, data-driven solutions.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to confidently deliver projects and insights to various teams.

• Software Development Lifecycle: A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with Agile methodologies like SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
   

This role requires a candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment where quick adoption of new techniques is essential.
