This is an Electrical/Avionics Engineering Manager (EASA Modifications) (f/m/d) role.
Help us lead the future of commercial aircraft modification in Boeing EASA Modifications. We are looking for a strong technical leader with deep, evidential background in promoting safety, technical excellence, innovation and best practices within complex and matrixed organisations.
The successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplined, agile team and provide leadership across all EASA Modifications programmes. The new manger will help lead the Electrical/Avionics team responsible for design and certification of a range of modifications to all Boeing Commercial Aircraft models.
This role is based in BGS EASA Modifications site in Munich, Germany with hybrid working options. Travel to other sites is expected with occasional international travel.

Responsibilities:
- Assist leading the execution of electrical/avionics engineering activities across BGS EASA Mods and ensures all products and services delivered on time and on budget.
- Managing employees performing electrical/avionic design and certification activities, and implement and enforce engineering functional excellence in people, processes, tools and practices; driving productivity improvements and sharing best practices and lessons learnt.
- Driving the development and execution of technical projects and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set effective operational goals while leading the execution of solution-based engineering through effective resource allocation and management.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees, including skill, career and talent development across cabin interior teams.
- Possess an understanding of engineering job practices, certification techniques, industry standards, principles, theories and concepts.
- Act as Boeing representative during customer meetings such as ITCM, PDR, CDR and FAI in support of active and up-coming projects. Provide additional on-site support to assist the customers’ during the embodiment phase of the project.
- Day to day project management of engineering activities related to EASA design organisation projects, including time management and budget.
- Provide regular feedback to the Senior Engineering Manager on the performance of the team.
