Job Duties:
- Develop electrical system design solutions for aerospace and aviation projects
- Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical designs meet project requirements
- Perform electrical calculations and analysis to validate design integrity
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical design technologies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in electrical design within the aerospace or aviation industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practises
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design within the aerospace or aviation industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of electrical system design concepts
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) licence
- Experience with CAD software
Working Conditions:
The Electrical Design Engineer will work in an office setting, collaborating with team members and occasionally visiting project sites. The role may involve occasional travel for meetings or project-related activities.
