Description: You will be the Cyber Systems Security Engineer for the Lexington, KY area and must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Cyber Systems Security Engineer embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team; you will work as part of the Cybersecurity team and must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include:
• Responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate, and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle.
• Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions.
• Coordinate and address Supply Chain risk management concerns.
• Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions.
• Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
• Employ cyber security processes, methods, techniques, and tools and assure their consistent application.
• Implement appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Cyber Security certification and accreditation experience, previous assignments in evaluating / documenting compliance with associated standards/specifications
- Experience with incorporating STIGS, assessing systems for compliance, establishment of security controls, POA&M and mitigation efforts supporting the development and approval of C&A packages
- Ability to obtain DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Sec + CE) within 6-months
-Host and Network security tools, including eMASS, ACAS, HBSS, Splunk, and Core Impact

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
