Job Description
** Position will be based remotely in the Dallas, TX area.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support of assigned customers in region including activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, Monitoring & Diagnostics, fleet configuration. Maintenance of fleet data, outage management.
Developing specialized knowledge on multiple GE Product Lines. Serves as best practice/quality resource.
Contributes towards technical and business strategies, standard work development, and ensures results are delivered within a timely manner.
Has in-depth knowledge of best practices. Documents, shares & retains critical information to most efficiently & effectively support customers and coach colleagues
Uses data, information and judgment to make decisions to solve complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university (engineering degree preferred) and 5+ years of experience in engineering, aviation maintenance or customer support (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of experience in engineering, aviation maintenance or customer support).
