A Day in the Life of an Associate Industrial Engineer:
This entry level position develops and coordinates with Manufacturing the strategies and plans that improve productivity. Under Management supervision, implements practices to reduce operating expenses, reduce work in progress, and increase production.
What youll be doing as an Associate Industrial Engineer:
- Learn to summarize, by significant categories, issue that affected manufacturing activity to Production supervisor.
- Learn to develop crewload/shopload plans and reports.
- Learn to estimated time value or standard in appropriate electronic systems.
- Learn to provide schedule variance figures to manufacturing and assist in Performance reports (weekly) explanations.
- Learn to implement cost reduction ideas (Method Improvements).
- Learn to provide Weekly Activity reports.
- Ensure visual factory information is current at all times.
