As a key contributor, you’ll work on programs like MV-75 and SPRINT, designing air vehicle subsystems that will be deployed in the most extreme, mission-critical scenarios. This is your chance to make a real-world difference in how people and assets are transported safely and efficiently.
Role SummaryAs an Air Vehicle Systems Design Engineer, you will play an essential role in developing innovative structural and subsystem solutions. From concept through implementation, you’ll be creating the next generation of aerospace technologies that deliver speed, reliability, and safety.
Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDesign structural provisions and brackets using trade studies, research, and analysis.
Develop model-based definitions including 2D/3D annotations for parts, assemblies, and installations.
Coordinate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve issues and align designs.
Lead technical efforts and mentor junior engineers on complex assignments.
Execute tasks to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets.
Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex design challenges.
Support and integrate supplier or teammate design efforts.
Required QualificationsMinimum 5 years of aerospace design or directly transferrable industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred (related degrees with experience will be considered).
Proficiency with GD&T and general part sizing principles.
Working knowledge of CATIA V5, V6, or 3DExperience (preferred).
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Effective communicator capable of coordinating cross-functional teams and reporting to program leadership.
Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with suppliers, customers, and teammates.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $100.00 per hour
