Roles and Responsibilities
Independent execution with minimal direction from experts on analysis & design of rotordynamic system/sub-system assemblies for nextgen sustainable engine programs to develop technologies meeting ambitious performance & environmental goals.
Understand key business drivers, contribute towards developing program plan and deliver impactful business outcomes. Integrate work of self/team with other teams and contribute to broader business objectives.
Lead and contribute to solving tough technical challenges, as an integral part of a collaborative global team.
Propose innovative solutions and proactively protect GEs competitive advantage by filing IP.
Present in global reviews with peers/experts, Chief Engineers Office and Systems organization.
Ensure proper documentation of technical data consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Good interpersonal skills, flexibility to work on a wide variety of problems/programs of interest to GE Aerospace.
Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
Acts as a mentor for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low to moderate risks and resource requirements.
Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
