Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $53.50-$63.37Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement embedded software using C/C++, Windows SDK, and Visual Studio
Contribute to software architecture and design for Windows desktop and low-level system applications
Apply Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP) to software solutions
Develop UI and back-end features using Win32, WPF, or WinUI 3
Perform low-level Windows diagnostics and debugging using tools such as WinDBG, DDK, or equivalent
Maintain and enhance applications using SQL Server or other relational databases
Integrate or develop solutions using LabWindows/CVI when applicable
Contribute to DevOps practices: version control, CI/CD automation, and environment configuration
Participate in Agile-based development workflows and cross-discipline collaboration
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM discipline(or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience)
5+ years of professional software development experience in a Windows environment(3+ years with a Master’s)
Active DoD Secret security clearance required at time of hire
Proficiency in:
C/C++, Windows SDK, Visual Studio
Windows application development (Win32, WPF, WinUI 3)
Object-Oriented Design, software design patterns (MVVM, MVP)
Windows kernel-level debugging and diagnostics tools (e.g., WinDBG, DDK)
Experience with:
SQL/relational databases such as SQL Server
DevOps concepts: version control strategies, CI/CD automation
Agile/Lean methodologies
Preferred: Familiarity with LabWindows/CVI and legacy software integration
