Advanced Software Engineer
Bloomington, MN
Contract Position
$47.21-$52.21/Hour
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and test embedded systems, products, and services to enhance national security and protect military personnel.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field; or equivalent experience.
- Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
- Strong background in embedded software development, Linux, RTOS, and hardware/software integration.
- Familiarity with DO-178 compliant software engineering life cycle.
- Demonstrated ability to lead software development processes and apply technical standards to solve complex challenges.
- Knowledge of technology trends and a commitment to implementing innovative ideas and process improvements.
- Collaborative team player with experience providing technical leadership and supporting team success.
