Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Engineering Change Notice (ECN) systems to support new product development, repairs, and upgrades.
- Coordinate change control processes across engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams.
- Review and verify design release documentation for configuration identification, completeness, and authorization compliance.
- Support and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and change approval workflows.
- Conduct and support Configuration Management (CM) audits for process integrity and compliance.
- Assess and refine CM policies, procedures, and service effectiveness across product lifecycles.
- Manage and maintain product and allocated baselines for hardware and software configurations.
- Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) tools, Jira, and MS Office to track and report CM activities.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent experience.
- Active or obtainable Secret DoD Security Clearance (must be acquired within a reasonable timeframe).
- 3+ years of experience in Configuration Management or Change Control in development and manufacturing environments.
- Deep understanding of DOD and industry CM standards, including both hardware and software domains.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Change control boards and comment adjudication
- CM audits and lifecycle assessments
- Managing baselines and product configurations
- Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, and Product Data Management (PDM) applications.
- On-site presence may be required based on program needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.
- Ability to coordinate process controls across disciplines.
- Familiarity with government/military documentation standards.
