Avionics Troubleshooter
Job Description:

SkyBridge Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Troubleshooter with 6+ years of recent experience working on business jets. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining avionics and electrical systems on corporate and private aircraft. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience troubleshooting navigation, communication, autopilot, and entertainment systems while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics and electrical system issues on business jets.
  • Perform repairs, modifications, and installations of avionics components, including navigation, communication, and autopilot systems.
  • Conduct functional and operational tests to verify system performance and compliance with FAA and manufacturer standards.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to identify and resolve system discrepancies.
  • Work with flight crews, maintenance teams, and engineers to ensure avionics issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on avionics systems.
  • Document all maintenance actions in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in avionics maintenance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior avionics technicians when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of recent hands-on experience troubleshooting avionics systems on business jets (e.g., Gulfstream, Bombardier Challenger/Global, Dassault Falcon, Cessna Citation, Embraer).
  • FAA A&P or FCC License preferred but not required.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing avionics systems, including FMS, ADS-B, TCAS, SATCOM, Wi-Fi, and entertainment systems.
  • Must have own set of tools.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
  • This is a overnight shift 8pm to 8 am.
