We are looking for an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team. The role involves heavy maintenance on ERJ 145s and CRJ 200s, maintaining and repairing avionics systems for ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft according to all specifications. You will document maintenance procedures including component damage, origin, and condition, and practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operations. The role also involves performing daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations of aircraft while effectively troubleshooting defective systems and components.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance on ERJ 145s and CRJ 200s.
- Maintain and repair ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft avionics systems according to specifications.
- Document maintenance procedures, including component damage, origin, and condition.
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
- Perform daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations of aircraft.
- Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components effectively.
Essential Skills- Experience with heavy maintenance on ERJ-135 and ERJ-145 aircraft.
- A&P license preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience on any type of aircraft.
- Knowledge of CRJ, Embraer, C-check, and jet maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience on ERJ airframes preferred.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a non-climate controlled aircraft hangar located in Smyrna, TN, just 20 miles from Nashville. Candidates must be open to working both 1st (5:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and 2nd (2:00 PM - 12:30 AM) shifts, on schedules of either Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
