Job Description

We are seeking a professional and technically astute Avionics Modification Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance, including inspection, operational tests, repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, and replacement of aircraft electrical/avionics systems. This role requires advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and provide guidance to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, operational tests, repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, and replacements of aircraft electrical/avionics systems.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to resolve complex issues.
• Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to team members.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed to the highest standards.

• Proficiency in avionics modifications and troubleshooting.
• Experience with avionics installation and depot-level work.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably in military or government aviation maintenance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple roles and projects simultaneously.

This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with the benefit of paid federal holidays while on contract. The role provides the chance to work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for overtime and professional growth.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both 1st and 2nd shifts from Monday to Thursday, with 1st shift running from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime is available throughout the week, providing flexibility and additional earning potential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
