JOB SUMMARY:
To tone and touch-up wood furniture to meet customer specifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manually applies tone and touch up to basic furniture, UV panels or assemblies under guidance of other tone and touch-up specialist.
Performs sanding operations of basic furniture or assemblies for adhesion.
Identifies basic imperfections before and after toning and/or touch-up.
Application of insulator, tie coat, tone and/or touch-up via HVLP equipment, airbrush or paint brush.
Re-assembles as required for uniform tone.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school education or equivalent and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 6 months of toning and/or touch-up experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids. Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required.
