Position Overview
The Technical Recruiter will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager within the Talent Center of Excellence (COE) onsite in our Greensboro, NC headquarters. In this role, you will partner with the business leads to source, recruit, and hire for technical roles across both Greensboro (GSO) and Lake City, Florida (LCQ) operations.
- Serve as a talent acquisition advisor and influencer to the business.
- Manage various hiring partners with multiple searches simultaneously.
- Ensure pipeline for: experienced A&P Mechanics, Leads, Supervisors and Project Managers.
- Build candidate pipeline for open searches through direct and indirect sourcing techniques.
- Targeted Sourcing: Proactively search/recruit from targeted companies.
- Track and report candidate pipeline for each assigned search.
- Serve as the candidate advocate through the hiring process.
- Manage appropriate candidate expectations.
- Lead offer presentations including candidate compensation negotiation and closing.
- Use data to make decisions.
- Maintain data integrity and meet all compliance requirements.
- Be accessible and responsive to action for all stakeholders.
- Maintain an industry awareness of aviation industry activity that can create new sources of employees.
- Conduct facility tours as needed to promote HAECO to various groups.
- Attend career events at aviation education institutions and select Military bases (community colleges, aviation schools, military bases, and TAPS / discharge programs).
What you need: (Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- 3+ years related recruiting experience or relevant aviation A&P experience.
- Experience hiring both exempt and non-exempt technical positions within a manufacturing, aviation, or similar environment.
- Ability to develop innovative and creative search strategies.
- Passion for providing an exceptional candidate and client experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Mastery of breaking down barriers and working with all personality types.
- Comprehension to understand the business and its needs.
- Skill of prioritization, organization and accountability for deadlines and deliverables to all stakeholders.
