How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The selected candidate will be responsible for helping maintain competitive posture as it pertains to Deltas fares, rules, pricing policies, procedures, and programs. Each Pricing team is responsible for the ongoing strategy, tactics, and execution of Delta’s spanet level pricing within that region and for the analysis of its resulting performance. As a global airline, our pricing experts support various regions across the world. The successful candidate will assume pricing responsibilities for Domestic Revenue Management team.Pricing Team FunctionsMonitor, initiate and communicate industry pricing actions including changes to fare levels, fare rules, policies, and pricing strategy executionProactively manage Delta’s fare structure including prices and fare rulesIdentify and analyze spanet issues and trends, determining appropriate pricing actions, filing of actions, and post-audit assessment of actionsSynthesize high-level trends and spanet specific data to establish a fare structure to best segment customers and maximize revenueProvide technical pricing support to other revenue management groups and both internal and external distribution channels and reportingWork cross-functionally with Inventory Management, Network Planning, Alliances, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment on spanet level strategiesPartner with ATPCO, all Global Distribution Systems, the Commercial teams, and other stakeholders to develop, support and enhance the functionality of automated pricing and distribution systems

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Must be detail-oriented, have proven analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work well with others in a time sensitive team environment Ability to meet deadlines, service level commitments, and handle multiple tasksMust be able to set priorities in a time sensitive environment based on revenue impact and be able to manage several responsibilities at onceMust be performing satisfactorily in current positionConsistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) Familiarity with airline economic and industry experience preferred1-5 years of relevant work experience (requirement differs by grade level) or Bachelors degree-Preferred major in Business, Finance, Economics, and Marketing, Statistics
