$53.60-$58.60/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to advanced defense and security technology projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal operation of Microsoft 365 applications within mission-critical environments.
• Provide expert consultation and support for the full lifecycle of Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring job automation, system monitoring, and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain application performance by conducting system health checks, resolving incidents, and performing updates, patches, and software upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the integration of Microsoft 365 tools with various enterprise systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, change management, and compliance procedures.
• Mentor and guide teams on application usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.
• Lead small projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure regulatory and security compliance (e.g., SOX) and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years (or 6+ years with a Masters) of relevant experience in application administration and support.
• Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (OneDrive, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI).
  • Advanced skills in MS Exchange 2016/2019, Exchange Online, PowerShell, and MS Teams.
  • Experience with Azure AD, ADFS, Group Policy, and Okta.
  • Solid understanding of server architecture, virtualization, storage, enterprise security, and replication technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking (DNS, IP addressing, HTTP) and file transfer methods (FTP, SFTP).
  • Familiarity with DevOps, Agile methodologies, and the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., application administrator or technical certifications).
  • Proficiency with SQL and other scripting languages, batch automation tools, and Jira.
  • Experience in Lean-Agile principles and practices (DevSecOps, Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
