How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) As a member of Delta’s pensions team, the Specialist of Pension Investments will work collaboratively to drive strong investment performance for Delta’s retirement plan assets. Alongside strategic partners, the team currently manages $17 billion in defined-benefit pension assets and oversees the investment options available in Delta’s 401(k) plans, which currently comprise over $40 billion in participant-directed investments. While the Specialist will work across asset classes and investment strategies, you will also lead the expanded analysis of our private spanet investment exposures. In the role, you will be expected to take ownership of investment projects and prepare materials for senior Delta leaders in a highly dynamic and deadline-oriented environment.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leading the expansion of our private spanet investment data analysisActively contributing to investment decision-making, participating in meetings with existing and prospective investment managers, writing and distributing meeting notes, and remaining informed on investment manager activityIndependently managing external party relationshipsGenerating and tailoring risk and performance attribution reports for total portfolio and underlying investments across different asset classes and strategies Monitoring global spanet conditions and summarizing capital spanets researchCollaborating and coordinating with the team across a variety of workflows and ad hoc projects
