ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As a Senior Automation Test Analyst, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products and responsibilities encompass a range of activities focused on planning, executing, and managing testing processes. You will be part of the technical design, development and maintenance of applications and systems using existing and emerging technology platforms. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will be a part of the Product Technology and Engineering team.
You will be contributing to SITA’s success by ensuring the software is verified and validated against the criteria set out in the functional and non- functional specifications by defining test cases and ensuring their execution.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Collaborate with the Scrum team and Product Owner to analyze new feature requests and provide early feedback for development.
Act as a quality gatekeeper in day-to-day development, highlighting risks and issues early.
Design, write, and maintain automation test scripts in Selenium with Java, including creating locators and reusable code.
Develop, update, and execute regression test packs.
Contribute to test frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, REST Assured) and maintain automation pipelines with Maven.
Perform functional, integration, performance, and regression testing.
Manage defects and create/maintain test documentation.
Support developers with automation practices and coding standards.
Suggest and implement best practices to continuously improve test quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing with Java.
Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver (with Java), TestNG, Cucumber (BDD), and REST Assured.
Proficient in Java coding - capable of writing automation code, creating locators, and maintaining frameworks.
Experience with Maven for build management and test execution.
Skilled in working in an Agile environment and familiar with software testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, UAT).
University degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar) or equivalent experience.
ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing certification desirable.
Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Postman, UFT, and ALM Octane.
Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work under pressure.
Understanding of Agile principles, risk-based testing, and model-based testing.
